Super Easy Chinese Chicken Soup w/ Oyster Sauce

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cut into big or serving sizes
3 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce (for soup color only)
1 can button mushrooms
½ tbsp. peppercorns
1 stalk of spring onion or lemon grass (tanglad)
3 potatoes cut in halves
2 red onions cut in quarters
2 carrots cut into bite sizes
